SHILLONG: The fourth edition of EmergE-the Annual Entrepreneurship Summit of IIM Shillong will be organised on September 19 to 20. It is a two day summit organized by i-Cube – the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIM Shillong that aims to impart its philosophy of Inspire, Innovate, and Implement through various eminent speakers and industry leaders.

The Shillong Times first appeared as a tabloid weekly on 10th August 1945 under the editorship of Late Sudhindra Bhusan Chaudhuri. In 1958 it was converted to a Daily. Owing to financial constraints, within six months it reverted back to a weekly.
