SHILLONG: Police have arrested one person from Jirang for allegedly attempting to rape three girls in the village.
The incident happened on September 7 when the accused Walking Thangkhiew allegedly attempted to rape two minor girls at Mynnar in Ri Bhoi District.
Again on September 30 the accused attempted to rape another lady of the same village. The accused has been arrested and police is carrying on with further investigation.
