JOWAI: The Jaintia Tribal Traders’ Association (JTTA) will hold a public meeting at Iaw-thymme on October 10 at 2:00 pm. The meeting will discuss on the issue of the JHADC trading permits and the delayed construction of the Iawmusiang market.
According to Najiar, the JHADC has recently increased the rate scheduled for permits issued to traders. Apart from that, the public meeting will also discuss the issue over the delay of the construction of the new market complex (Iawmusiang market) which is still in slow progress.
