Loot
On October 8, at around 3.30 am, unidentified miscreants armed with lethal weapons looted Rs. 6,000 from Janta Malakar, driver of truck (TR-01R-1599) at 13th Mile, GS Road (RB). Matter is under enquiry.
Bodies recovered
On October 8, police recovered two unidentified bullet ridden dead bodies from Chiading under Williamnagar PS (EGH). Necessary formalities were observed and matter is under investigation.
Burglary
On October 6 night, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Hazibullah Rahman at Lapalang, Shillong and stole cash Rs. 4,57,000, gold ornaments, silver utensils and valuable documents.
Assault
On October 6, at around 4.30 pm, one Rakhi Sharma assaulted Pratibha Gautam at Nongmynsong, Shillong, causing injuries and she was shifted to CH Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
Threat
Chelling R. Marak lodged a complaint that on October 3, at around 9.30 pm, one Premananda Koch, ex-MDC, misbehaved and threatened the police personnel on vehicle checking duty with dire consequences, when they stopped his vehicle at Zikzak market (WGH).
