SHILLONG: The NPP in its meeting at Tura on Tuesday chaired by party leader S. B Sangma welcomed Besterfield N. Sangma, former MDC and his followers into the party.
Besterfield said that he believed in the leadership of P.A. Sangma and alsohad full faith in the ability of Conrad .K. Sangma.
P. A Sangma while extending his wishes to Besterfield said that he was very happy that people like Besterfield who had proven that they were genuinely concerned about Garo Hills and the A’chik people by rejecting the Codification of Garo Customary Law, were joining the party. The meeting was also attended by James Sangma, MLA besides other party leaders and workers.
