Accident
On October 21, 2015 at about 8.30 pm, one auto-rickshaw (ML-14-0318) met with an accident at Bansali (South West Garo Hills). As a result, five occupants sustained injuries.
Theft
On November 19 afternoon Police arrested one Halim Mia (20) and from his possession recovered and seized one stolen cell phone belonging to Suman Biswas, at Jail Road, Shillong. Matter is under investigation.
On November 10 around 10.30 am, unknown miscreants stole music system from one vehicle (ML-05J-9685) belonging to Markynti Lyngkhoi from Sunny Hills, Shillong.
On November 14, unknown miscreants stole twenty-four batteries, copper wire and cables total valued around Rs.4,70,000 from the mobile tower of M/s Vodafone Telecommunication at Umkiang in East Jaintia Hills.
On November 18, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero pick-up vehicle (ML-10B-0610) belonging to Charles Rymbai from his residence at Ladsharai under Umiam PS in Ri Bhoi. Matter is under inquiry.
On November 17 around 3 am, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (AS-18B-5657) belonging to Dukakis K. Sangma from Williamnagar in East Garo Hills.
