SHILLONG: Residents of Garodubi village in West Garo Hills have alleged that the Block Development Officer & Programme Officer, MGNREGS, Selsella C&RD Block, had failed to respond to their RTIs filed over allegations of scams in MGNREGS implementation despite the passage of two months since the RTIs were filed.
Residents complained that one RTI was filed by Azahar Ali Khan and another by Abdul Mozid Sk and Nazmul Hoque Choudhury on September 17 and September 30, respectively.
“As per the RTI Act, 2005 the Public Information Officer should furnish the reply of the RTI as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within 30 days.
