SHILLONG: The FireHo-use concert scheduled to be held in Jowai on Saturday has been deferred following the inability of the band members to make it to the State on time for the event. Informing this here on Friday, the headman of Panaliar, Arwanki Sumer said that the concert is likely to be held December 19.
“The visa of C.J. Snare, the band’s lead vocalist was rejected thus causing the delay. However, we received the news that it was accepted this morning (Friday),” the headman said. As many as 3000 tickets have been already sold for the concert, the headman informed. He added that the tickets will be valid for the event, the date for which has been deferred.  The organizers also apologized for the inconvenience caused to the public.
