Gold ornaments stolen
On 15 December at around 7 am, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Sumitra Chettri at Lumshyiap, Nongmynsong, Shillong and stole gold ornaments valued around Rs. 5 lakh and cash Rs. 15,000.
Cheating in Policy premium
One Subrata Bhattacharya of Upper Jail Road, Shillong lodged a complaint on December 15 that between December 1 and 3, one Suresh Sharma cheated her of Rs. 87,000 which was deposited on account of payment towards Reliance Policy premium.
Cash stolen   
On December 14 at around 7.20 pm, unknown miscreants broke into the house of one  Rajchandra Paul at Lower Jail Road, Shillong and stole cash Rs. 1 lakh and valuable items worth  Rs. 50,000.
Shots fired at Guest House
On December 14 at  around 10.40 pm, one Santelson Kurbah (42) created trouble, pelted stones and fired shots from his small arm at Shillong Hills Guest House, Upper New Colony.
Accident injures 8, driver flees 
On December 14 at around 8 pm, one bus (AS-01GS-2880) capsized at Umling GS Road (RB). As a result, eight occupants of the bus sustained injuries. After the incident, the driver of the bus fled away.
One killed in accident
On December 14 at around 9.45 pm, one unknown truck fatally knocked down one  Phyrnai Talang (35) at Byrnihat (RB). Cadaver was sent to CH Nongpoh for post mortem examination.
Body recovered
On December 15 at around 4 pm, body of one Mahimbor Dkhar (48) was recovered from Mawbah.
Minor molested  
On December 12, one Bijay Deb molested one minor girl (13) at Upper Laban, Police arrested the accused.
Grocery items lifted
On December 11 night, unknown miscreants broke into the grocery shop of one Jay Prakash Gupta at Williamnagar Bazar (EGH) and stole grocery items valued around Rs. 3,82,642.
