10 injured in road mishaps across State

SHILLONG: A passenger bus (ML05 F 0804) carrying a picnic party to Mawngap overturned at Arwah in Sohra, East Khasi Hills on Tuesday evening, injuring eight occupants including a two-year-old girl.
The injured were shifted to the Sohra CHC for treatment.
In another case, a driver of a Maruti 800 sustained injury when the vehicle fell into a drain at Goiragre under Rongram Block in West Garo Hills on Tuesday night.
Another driver sustained injuries when the Maruti Ritz (ML05 L 9425) he was driving hit a wall near Bimola at Iewduh, Shillong, on Tuesday night. The driver Parvez Alam (24) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
