City based author’s book to be part of all libraries

SHILLONG: The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has directed its concerned departments to appropriately utilize the research-based book by Salil Gewali of Shillong across the country.
It has written to the head office of Raja Ram Mohan Library, Kolkata, to consider to keep the book, both Hindi and English editions, in all libraries in India.
Besides repeated recommendations, the Government’s attention has drawn by a letter by a scholar from Los Angeles — Dr. Priyanka Sharma addressed to the Culture Minister that the book showcases to the world how the world-renowned philosophers, scientists and writers were inspired by the ancient wisdom, spiritualism (Yoga and Meditation) which usually not known even to 1% of Indians.’
A noted Philippines poetess also appreciated the hard work of the author.
The book by Gewali has also been incorporated as a textbook by one of the universities in Nepal.
