FICN racket busted; B’deshi nabbed

SHILLONG: BSF troops deployed at Rongra, South Garo Hills, apprehended one Bangladeshi national namely Mohtaj Miya (35), hailing from Netrakona district of Bangladesh, while he was infiltrating from Bangladesh and recovered 20,000 fake Indian currency notes, BD Taka 70 and one mobile phone with two Bangladesh SIM from his possession.
The arrested person revealed that he had brought the FICN consignment from Netrakona (Bangladesh) for handing over to one Indian FICN racketeer Greengton Marak, resident of Rongra, South Garo Hills, at Rongra market.
The apprehended person and seized items were handed over to Rongra police for further legal action.
