SHILLONG: Justice VP Vaish of Delhi High Court may join Meghalaya High Court as a Judge following his transfer recently.
An official source said on Tuesday that Justice Vaish, who had served as the Registrar General, was elevated in Delhi High Court from the subordinate judiciary before he was transferred.  After the assumption of office by Justice Vaish, another Judge from the State will be appointed  by the collegium of High Court of Meghalaya. As per norm, Chief Justice and three more Judges form part of High Courts.
