SHILLONG: The State Council of Science Technology & Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya will conduct an Open Essay Writing Competition for School students between the age of 14-17 years on the topic ‘Caring Mother Earth – Role of Youth’ as part of the Earth Day Celebration.
An Award of Rs 5,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 3,000 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place holders respectively while Rs 2,000 will also be given as a consolation prize to the best Essays. The Essay should not exceed 1500 words.
Interested students can submit their essay either by hand or post at the address given below:
