Pvt and Govt hospitals to be audited post quake

SHILLONG: The auditing team constituted at the District level of East Khasi Hills which has been activated will conduct an inspection of all the private and Government hospitals in the District.  The auditing team that existed for quite a long time has been activated once again following Wednesday’s earthquake.
East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner PS Dkhar said that the team has already conducted an auditing of the Shillong Civil Hospital.
He added that he is yet to get a report whether a crack has surfaced at the Shillong Civil Hospital following the earthquake.
As per Dkhar, the team comprising of engineers will visit every government building, hospitals and schools in a week  It may be mentioned that the team has also audited NEIGRIHMS prior to the earthquake.
Following the   earthquake, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma immediately directed the Home Minister Roshan Warjri to conduct and audit all the Government buildings and hospitals.
