JCB earth mover case
A woman identified as Deisynylla Marbaniang of Mawlai Iewrynghep, lodged a complaint that on May 28, last year one Chandra Kanta Das purchased one JCB earth mover from her for Rs. 11,50,000 out of which he paid Rs. 7 lakh, and the balance amount to be paid in installments was at the rate of Rs. 1 lakh per month but he failed to pay the same till date.
Car tape stolen
On April 15 at around 6.30 pm, miscreants stole one car tape from a Maruti car (ML-05D-1778) belonging to one Richie John Kurbah which was parked at Jail Road, Shillong.
One held for theft of electrical goods
One Piius Khongwir, Manager, YFC Project Pvt. Ltd., Mawiongrim, Shillong lodged a complaint that on April 15 morning, his staff detected four persons while stealing electrical goods from the YFC Project campus and apprehended one of them namely, Petrus Thangkhiew (21) while the other three managed to escape. They recovered electrical goods valued around Rs. 1,73,400- from his possession and handed over to Police. Police seized the stolen articles and arrested the accused person.
Assault
On April 14 at around 7.30 pm, one Richester Sohtun (26) assaulted one Mithelesh Kumar (36 yrs) at Nongmynsong, Shillong causing injuries to him.
Solar batteries stolen
On April 3, unknown miscreants stole two solar batteries from Cantonment Area, Shillong.
