CPC condoles Simchang’s death

SHILLONG: The Central Puja Committee (CPC), Garo Hills condoled the death of former Minister, NN Simchang who passed away on Sunday.
Hailing from Dalu, West Garo Hills, Simchang was associated with the CPC and other social organizations.
The CPC in a meeting held on Sunday observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Secretary CPC, Garo Hills Arup Nag recalled the contribution of Simchang.”Simchang was actively involved in the construction of Maa Kamakhya temple at Kharonggre in Garo Hills,” Nag recalled. CPC president C.B. Lamsal, while condoling his death said that Garo hills has lost one of the energetic and hard working social activists.
