Woman molested in Police Bazar
On May 26 at around 11.30 am one Banrilang Malngiang of Lawsohtun Block-V, molested a woman at Police Bazar in the city.
Man attempts to rape 10-year-old daughter
On May 25 at around 2 pm, one Tapon Rai allegedly attempted to rape his 10-year-old daughter in his residence at Tilapara village in North Garo Hills.
Body found
A body of one Korester Mukhim (28) was recovered from Wah Umnamlang, Lumbria, Mawryngkneng in East Khasi Hills on the evening of May 25. The body has been sent for Post Mortem examination.
One stabbed
One Khlur Thongni (36) was stabbed by one Siwer Thyrniang at Rangblang in South West Khasi Hills on Friday night. The injured person has been referred to Shillong for treatment while the accused was arrested on Saturday.
