BSNL to improve service by year end

SHILLONG: The BSNL has assured a BJYM delegation that better connectivity will be provided to the customers by the end of 2016.The BJYM led by its president Eugenestar Kurkalang met the General Manager, Telecom District, BSNL who assured that steps will be taken to improve connectivity. According to BJYM president, the BSNL assured that better service will be provided within December or January next as there is progress in the ongoing work to improve the system.Besides, installation of more towers in city and in rural areas will be carried out. The BJYM leader expressed concern over the poor he services of wimax, wired broadband and cellular GSM of the BSNL which affected the subscribers including students.
