(Contd from P-3) the “Commandant of the District Home Guard” has authorized him to collect the money, Rs 500 from every villager, and went on to threaten people stating that anyone who fails to pay will be arrested.
He also pretended to repair gas stoves in the village. The villagers apprehended the accused and handed him over to police.
