Demand for removal of truant teacher

TURA: The Hills People’s Federation has filed a complaint against a teacher of Anchenggre Primary School in West Garo Hills for negligence of duty.  The Federation, along with MC members, parents and local residents, complained to the SDSEO alleging that Grenbilla has been absent from her duties for two months. The group has urged the authority concerned to remove the truant teacher for the sake of the student community of the area.
