NCP names candidate for Mawprem-Laban constituency

SHILLONG: The State unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has decided to field Ricky Shullai from the 15-Mawprem-Laban constituency for the upcoming bye-election of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council. The decision to field Ricky Shullai, a relative of South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai, was taken at a party meeting held here on Monday. Party members pledged to start a full-fledged campaign to ensure the candidate’s win.
