BSF organises civic action event, medical camp

JOWAI: The BSF Hq. Jowai Sector organized civic action programme cum-free health check up camp for hundreds of residents of Byndihati village in East Jaintia Hills on Saturday.
The programme also coincided with the conclusion of the Vigilance Week observation of BSF.
Local MLA, Justine Dkhar inaugurated the BSF civic action programme in the presence of BSF DIG, Jowai Sector, Sultan Ahmed, East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner, WR Lyngdoh, EJH Additional Superintendent of Police, L Sangma among others.
During the programme, BSF also donated chairs and a table for the office of the Dolloi Sutnga.
Three medical officers of the BSF treated 660 villagers including 250 children on the occasion.
