SHILLONG: A woman, who was injured in an accident in Jowai on October 27, has died. In a complaint lodged, one Debu Choudhury said his car met with an accident in Jowai at 11.30pm on October 27.
Choudhury was travelling with his family. One of the passengers, Rekha Chakraborty, was grievously injured and later succumbed to the injuries. The driver of the car that hit Choudhury’s vehicle fled.
