Electoral rolls
The District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills, has notified that the list of amendment to the draft electoral roll for District Council Constituencies of Nongkrem, Laban-Mawprem and Nongspung-Sohiong has been prepared with reference January 1, 2016 as qualifying date. A copy of the list of amendments has been published and will be available for inspection at the office of the District Election Officer, EKH among others.
Temporary bar license
The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills has informed that henceforth applications for temporary bar license should be submitted at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the programme/event.
Cleaning drive
A cleaning drive was organized by NCC cadets of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Eastern Air Command, Upper Shillong on the occasion of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Day. On the occasion KV, EAC, Upper Shillong also organized various programmes.
