SHILLONG: After getting support from HSPDP, KHADC chief P.N Syiem said the Congress members, who are in the Opposition, and others are free to join the People’s Democratic Forum (PDF) led by him.
“The few others in the Opposition should also join the Forum as this will only strengthen the Executive Committee,” Syiem said.
The KHADC chief also expressed happiness over almost all the regional parties supporting the PDF.
“We hope both the Congress members and even NCP will support us. If the members of all political parties come and support, because of the issues we are taking up, this will be a welcome step,” he said.
According to Syiem, the support of all MDCs will ensure stability which will help the Council to take up a lot of development initiatives.
