Wife assaulted  
On December 30 at around 9 pm, one Jonathan Lamare assaulted his wife Wanderisha Tynsong (30) in their residence at Umpling, Lumdiengmet. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong and later referred to NEIGRIHMS.
Dy SP’s wife robbed
K. Prasad, Deputy SP (Headquarters), EKH lodged a complaint that on Dec 30, miscreants stole a purse of his wife Chanda Prasad, containing  cash Rs. 8,000, four ATM cards and CSD Canteen card in the name of late S.K Singh and  Shanti Devi, at Police Bazar.
Driver, occupants injured   
On December 30 at around 3.15 pm, one Maruti car (ML-10A-6886) driven by Deben Shylla, capsized at Pomura (EKH). As a result, the driver and two occupants sustained injuries and were admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong.
