SHILLONG: The excise officers of East Khasi Hills district detected 20 cases of liquor with a seizure of 118.900 litres of i/d liquor and 231.730 litres IMFL on the month of October last year. In this connection around 17 people were arrested under the Excise Act.
The excise staff of East Khasi Hills District, has during the month of November 2016, the Excise staff detected 15 cases with seizure of 17.800 liters of i/d liquor and 1.560 and IMFL seized. In this connection 14 persons were arrested under the Excise Act.
