SHILLONG: The executive members of Mawthadraishan Block Congress Committee (MBCC) have extended their support to the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) several issues, including opposing the Centre’s demonetisation move. In a statement to the press, MBCC conveyed its support to the movement by MPCC against declaration of December 25 as Good Governance Day by the BJP-led NDA government.
MBCC expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Mukul Sangma for his assurance to start the Markasa-Mawphanlur (5 km) road project.
