E-service in Nongstoin from Monday

SHILLONG: The office of the Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills will roll out e-service in Nongstoin on March 6. Initially six services — issuance of scheduled tribe certificate, scheduled caste certificate, certificate for recruitment into arm/paramilitary/police force, permanent residential certificate for higher studies and income certificate — will be started.
However for the time being the e-service facility will not be available to those applicants residing within the jurisdiction of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Mairang, which will be rolled out in due course of time.
