April target for youth policy

SHILLONG: Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Zenith Sangma said the State youth policy is expected to be completed by April.
The preparation of youth policy was entrusted to Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sangma said in his reply to a question raised by Ardent Basaiawmoit in the Assembly on Friday. The minister said after receiving the draft youth policy, it will be placed in public domain.
Later, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said during his reply to the Governor’s address that the government wanted the youth policy to be ready by April.
