Illicit liquor seized in New Nongstoin

NONGSTOIN: The village defense party of New Nongstoin seized over a hundred bottles of illicit liquor from near State Bank of India Nongstoin branch during a raid on Tuesday.The liquor was seized from a local taxi (ML06 3569). Two occupants of the cab were also nabbed.The VDP has decided to step up vigil in the area and has asked bootleggers to stop all illegal liquor trade.
