It has called upon the general people to keep a distance from all these persons and organisations so that their lives were not in peril in case of any offensive launched by the outfit.

In an emailed statement to the media here, ULFA’s ‘publicity secretary’ Arunudoy Dohotia warned of the attacks on specific people, including security agencies and politicians. It also threatened of violence against corrupt personnel, black marketers and multi-national companies, among others.

The outfit, in the email, asked the general public to be on alert and avoid being near the specified targets to ensure minimal ‘civilian casualty’.
