SHILLONG: Police on Saturday arrested one person from Ferndale Apartment in Shillong for allegedly trying to molest a minor girl.
The accused Pulesh Sor Rai (45), who is working as a domestic help, tried to molest the 16-year-old girl at the apartment in the absence of the owner. The girl is also working as a domestic help.
However, the girl managed to escape from the clutches of the accused.
The police have registered a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and Rai will be forwarded to Court on Sunday.
