SHILLONG: The organizational election of the Congress will be held shortly. As part of the exercise, the returning officer for Meghalaya, Sampath Kumar, had a meeting with the MPCC office bearers including president, DD Lapang on Wednesday. A party functionary from Delhi, Tarun Tyagi was also present at the meeting which discussed the preparedness of the party for the organizational election.
The enrolment of party members at various levels has been completed.
