SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills Police has issued a ‘hue and cry’ notice against one Nidu Barma (22) of Sonatola village under Dangar outpost.
A case of molestation under POCSO Act has been registered against the accused who has gone absconding.
Police have also issued a ‘hue and cry’ notice against a 58-year-old UTP, Shankar Ghosh who escaped from custody when he was brought to Civil Hospital for medical examination.
He was earlier apprehended in connection with a rape case under Madanrting police station.
Anyone having information about the two accused have been asked to immediately contact the police.
