SHILLONG: Three young achievers of Rilang Children’s Home – Lovingstar Marwein, Ribiarson Kharsyiemiong and Albornstar Lyngdoh – the first three inmates to have passed in the SSLC 2017 Examination from H. Elias Secondary School, were on Monday felicitated for their achievement.
The three orphans, who spent their childhood as labourers, have brought laurels to the children’s home by scoring respectable marks in the examination.
Albornstar passed secured first division while Ribiarson and Lovingstar passed with a second division. The felicitation programme was combined with the World Environment Day celebration.
