RBSU reiterates govt college demand

NONGPOH: The Ri Bhoi Students’ Union (central body) on Wednesday reiterated its demand for setting up of a government college in Ri Bhoi.
RBSU president Everjoy Nongpluh said here on Wednesday that at a time when the district was celebrating its silver jubilee it becomes imperative for the government to consider setting up of a state-run college in Ri Bhoi. He added that the union raised the issue several times with Chief Minister Mukul Sangma and hoped that the government will take the right steps in this regard.
