CPI(Maoist) ultras held

DEHRI-ON-SONE (BIHAR): Police on Thursday arrested six CPI (Maoist) ultras and seized a haul of arms, explosives and other materials used for processing weapons from Suarmanwa forests in Bihar’s Rohtas district after an encounter.

Acting on intelligence inputs, a joint team of police and the CRPF’s CoBRA unit launched a combing operation in Suarmanva forests and nabbed the ultras following a two-hour long encounter with a group of armed ultras, Superintendent of Police (SP) Manu Maharaj told reporters.

The arrested ultras have been identified as Jagdish Chero, Nandu Vishwakarma, Tikaram Chero, Uday Ram and Munni Chero and Upendra Chero, the SP said. (PTI)
