Cultural event
The 10th Inter-Shillong Cultural Event organised by Rabindranath Tagore Club was held on Sunday. Events included a Rangoli competition followed by Rabindra Sangeet, folk song and dance contests on Tagore’s compositions. The competition was held at Bangiya Sahityo Parishad on Jail Road.
Eid greetings
Blaze Sports Social and Cultural Association conveyed the Eid-Ul-Fitre wishes to the people. The founder family of Islamia Secondary School, Police Bazar also conveyed Eid-Ul-Fitre greetings and extended its gratitude to the State Government for declaring the celebration as a state holiday. The Central Puja Committee, Meghalaya, extended its hearty Eid Mubarak to all Muslim brothers and sisters of Meghalaya.
