Measures to curb online child sexual abuse

Shillong: The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has said the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology (Cyber Laws and e-Security Group) has directed all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to adopt and implement International Watch Foundation (IWF) resources on or before July 31 to prevent distribution and transmission of online Child Sexual Abuse materials in India.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, matters pertaining to website on child sexual abuse found on any online platform may be brought to the notice of the Special Superintendent of Police (CID), Meghalaya, email address [email protected] along with adequate material such as snapshot, print screen and URLs so that further action can be taken.
