SHILLONG: BJP State president, Shibun Lyngdoh congratulated the 14th President of India, Ram Nath Kovind on his emphatic win.
At a function held at the party office here on Thursday, Lyngdoh showered praise on the President elect and said he is a man of integrity. He also recalled Kovind’s visit to the State during his presidential campaign.
The President elect during the visit to the State had promised to uphold the Constitution of India and work selflessly for the benefit of every citizen without any prejudice to any caste, creed or religion.
