KOHIMA:A bomb, believed to be belonged to the Second World War era, has been recovered from a construction site at L-Khel of Kohima village.
Official sources said the unexploded bomb, weighing around 90 to 100 kg, was discovered by a construction worker on Thursday. Though a bomb disposal squad as well as personnel from Assam Rifles tried to defuse the bomb, they remained unsuccessful. Assuming that the explosion of such a massive bomb could have a major impact, panic gripped the people of Kohima village.(UNI)
