RTI activist lodges complaint

SHILLONG: An RTI applicant has filed a complaint before the Chief Information Commission against the public information officer who is the director of school education and literacy and district public information officer, sub divisional school education officer for failing to provide the required information on Upper Gillagora LP School, South West Khasi Hills.
The RTI applicant, Sangra M Marak, a resident of Gillagora village, Khonjoy, South West Khasi Hills had sought information about the functioning of Upper Gillagora LP School.
Marak wanted to know why the government is supplying school library books to the school which is not operational.
