SHILLONG: With the rest of the country, the Nehru Yuva Kendra Shillong, Ministry of Youth Affairs, East Khasi Hills District observing the Swachhata Fortnight cum Village Neighborhood Youth Parliament in the District from August 1 to 15.
The programme is supported by the office of the DC. Various activities such as awareness campaigns, sensitisation workshops, village cleaning drives, preservation of water resources, cleaning of public places are being carried out by the National Youth Volunteers, along with the Youth Club members affiliated to NYK Shillong.
