SHILLONG: The office of the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, has informed that the issue of local taxi/auto rickshaw stickers with allotted numbers will start from September 4 to October 31 from the SP Office in the city.
The owners of taxis and auto rickshaws must produce the original copies of registration, fitness and insurance certificates, permit, trading licence for non tribal owners, professional tax, passenger tax, M.L.M.T.U certificate, pollution certificate at the time of issuing the stickers along with photocopies as the same will be kept for office records.
