SHILLONG: Border Security Force troops at Nayabazar, Lyngkhat and Tuka in East Khasi Hills seized 52 cattle from being smuggled into Bangladesh. PK Dubey, BSF IG, has told all BSF personnel that from August 12 they should be more alert in the wake of the Independence Day celebrations. BSF has also sought cooperation of local police to enhance joint operations in thwarting cross-border crime.
