TURA: The Garo Baptist Convention (ABDK) has condemned the brutal killing of Olget R Marak, a 53-year-old man who was shot dead by GNLA militants recently at Dambuk Aga in South Garo Hills.
The ABDK on Wednesday appealed to underground outfits to desist from killing innocent people in the name of ‘Garoland’.
“We stand in solidarity with the victim’s family at this time of grief and convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved members. ABDK also appeal to the people of Garo Hills to pray for the well being of the affected family and for the peace of the land,” it said in a statement.
