SHILLONG: An agreement for the implementation of the Phase III of Meghalaya Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) was signed between NEIGRIHMS, New India Assurance Co Ltd and Medicare TPA on Monday.
A meeting was held in the presence of the Director of NEIGRIHMS where officials of the State Nodal Agency- MHIS, Health Department, the Insurance Company and the Third Party Administrators ironed out all issues with regards to the implementation of MHIS.
In the meantime, the signing of the MOU, beneficiaries enrolled under MHIS Phase III can now show their MHIS smart card at NEIGRIHMS and avail the benefits under the scheme.
