Cellphones stolen
Two mobile phones and a wallet containing cash, ATM card and office keys, among other things, belonging to Pranab Kumar Das were stolen by miscreants from his resident at BSNL Quarters in Oakland on Tuesday.
In another incident on the same day, two cellphones belonging to Phibanylla Lyngdoh and her friend were stolen from the counter at VIBES Restaurant in Nongrim Hills by miscreants.
A scooty owned by Jang Bahadur Ray was stolen from Zigzag road in Rilbong at 10pm on Monday. The registration number of the two-wheeler is ML-05L-8100.

1 injured in accident
A vehicle (ML-05P-2164) driven by Jeetu N Marak (23) knocked down a pedestrian, Molen Chettri (23), at Langkyrding in Nongmensong around 10 pm on Tuesday. The victim suffered injuries and was admitted in Civil Hospital.
Tenant harassed
A complaint was lodged by Priam B Dkhar on September 2, stating that her house owner, Euphresia Rani, dismantled the upper floor of her rented rooms at Laitumkhrah Main Road without giving any prior notice. She also alleged that her belongings were damaged. On Monday, the landlady gave the complainant an alternate room to keep her belongings which were tampered and thrown out by the landlady’s brother, Felix Rani.
